Don’t shoot the messenger! There’s somegood newsand some bad news coming from the Ubisoft camp today — well, mostly bad news (for us gamers, anyway). Take a look for yourself:
Free Radical’sHaze, which was originally going to be released this December, has now been pushed back into the fourth fiscal quarter of 2007-08.
But wait, there’s more:Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Convictionhas been delayed once again and is now scheduled for fiscal 2008-09.
Finally,Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2has been announced and is set for release in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2007-08. All of this news comes courtesy of Ubisoft’s financial results, which can beviewed here, if the thought of large numbers and jargon really gets you excited.
Sad news for PlayStation 3 owners wanting a new first-person shooter for the Holidays, isn’t it? I’m a little surprised that the next installment ofRainbow Sixis taking place in the same location as before, but I’ve heard that the multiplayer is absolutely top notch, so it’ll be interesting to see how that aspect of the game is improved upon in the sequel.
