This past weekend was most certainly a controversial one, but from the chaos ofallegations and treacherycame an actual piece of videogame news — the confirmation ofTwo Worlds III.
The confirmation was actually seen in the comments to our post on Topware’salleged blacklisting of European reviewers. Marketing director James Seaman became heavily involved in the comment thread, so it was easy to miss the news, butRiptenspotted that he’d revealed the current plans for the next game.
“We attempt to do a better job every time, and have brought in a brand new 3D modelling, animation and CG team for the nextTwo Worldsgame coming out in 2012,” said James.
It’s worth noting that, for everything Topware stands accused of, the team at Reality Pump putgenuineheart and effort into the creation ofTwo Worlds IIand made what I feel is a great game. If you believe that Topware was guilty of anything, do consider at least supporting the developers, who I would imagine had very little to do with anything beyond developing a videogame.
In any case, you could say that we just discovered thefate ofTwo Worlds! Har har har!
