THQ has announced that they will continue their partnership with theWWEfranchise for the next eight years. THQ will be the sole provider of all things professional wrestling for all major videogame platforms. No doubt this is great news to THQ stockholders as theWWEvideogames have netted over $1.4 billion in sales since 1995, according to the NPD.

THQ has also announced thatthe lawsuitagainst Jakks Pacific and theWWEhas been settled. All three parties withdrew their claims without any admitting any wrongdoing. THQ will be paying the WWE $13.2 million while Jakks will be receiving $20 million from THQ over the next four years. The THQ and Jakks Pacific joint venture is also ending at the end of this year.
