THQ has announced that it’s keeping hold of theWarhammer 40,000game license, having inked a deal with Games Workshop this week. Hardly surprising, considering THQ’s had that license since the dawn of time, and published the critically acclaimedDawn of Warseries as a result.
The deal has been signed while THQ and Relic work on a third-person action game,Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine. EssentiallyGears of Warwithout a cover system and featuring one of the coolest sci-fi settings around, it’s looking pretty damn good.
Good news, as far as I’m concerned. THQ treats the license with respect, and that’s all you can ask.
