New York City is a hot spot for videogame industry activity this month, it seems. This week it plays host toIrrational Games’ upcoming title reveal. Next week, THQ says it will unveil an “innovative” new title next week in the Big Apple.
“We are very excited about the potential for this new product and we look forward to its launch this holiday season,” THQ CEO Brian Farrell said during the company’s financial earnings call.
But while Irrational’s game will in all likelihood have a mature slant to it, don’t expect the same for THQ’s mystery title. The game was referenced at a point in the call where Farrell was discussing the company’s kids, family, and casual line-up. But hey, you’re interested in innovation in the industry, right?
