We’re a little over a week away from Namco Bandai’s reveal of the‘next evolution’ of Pac-Man. Will it be “Pac-Chain”?
Don’t know, but Namco Bandai just trademarked “Pac-Chain” in Europe for use with videogames and coin-operated machines. As Spencer with Siliconera points out, the mention of coin-op machines specifically is interesting; previousPac-Mantrademarks — like the ones forPac-Man Kart Rally, for instance — made no mention of such machines.
To me,Pac-Chainsounds like some totally awesome jewelry or a puzzle game. Whether or not this is the ‘next evolution’ ofPac-Manremains to be seen.
