The first addition in a “Summer of Heroes” campaign going on in Electronic Arts’ free-to-play shooter,Battlefield Heroes, swarthy sea-scallywags have been added as character sets. You’ll be able to field these buccaneers by spending your precious Battlefunds (the game currency bought with real cash) in the game Store.
EA has said that there are seven million registered players on this game, but I can’t say that I know one of them. Are you playing it? Am I missing out? And are you willing to shell out money to play as pirates? These are the questions that burn at my very soul this morning.
