The videogame cover band The Smash Brothers have finally launched aslick-looking GameBoy-themed Web site, and along with this launch comes the announcement of a new EP.
TitledBacon EP, this limited run collection will be launched atMagfest 7, taking place in Alexandria, VA, January 1-4, 2009. The site has a couple of samples from the EP, including a kickassCastlevania 3, 4,andActraisermix called… “Actraiservania.” Check them out.
Their “Onett” track from this EP, anEarthboundarrangement, will also be included on theChild’s Play CD 2008charity albumwe recently told you about.
And speaking of the game and game music convention Magfest 7, it’s right around the corner. It’s now eight days away.We’re going to kick the New Year off right. The management sends word that pre-registration ends some time this week, so if you’re considering going, get on that. Also, they add that this pre-registration is required to attend the New Year’s Eve party.
