In its year-long quest to figure out thegreatest animal in videogames,MTV Multiplayeris now taking votes from readers to determine the “GreatestAquaticAnimal in Videogame History.”
Now, I know a lot of you right now are wondering how this is news. Well, it really isn’t, but did you actually expect me not to post this? Seriously? There aremultipledolphins on the list (fap?). For me, this news is more groundbreaking than if Square-Enix was to officially announce a PlayStation 3 remake ofFinal Fantasy VII. Cloud, who? It’s all about Ecco, dammit!
I have to admit, I am pretty impressed with the huge list of nominees Multiplayer came up with. From the seventh colossus inShadow of the Colossusto Jabu-Jabu inThe Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, pretty much every aquatic creature is covered. And although I have my favorites (Del Lago and Linda the Lungfish FTW!), I will be a sad man if one of themultipledolphins on the list doesn’t emerge the victor.
