While the Thai government is on a self-serving morality crusade followingthe murderof a cabbie blamed spuriously onGTA IV, they have exposed themselves as dirty common criminals themselves. The Thai Ministry of Healthissued a listof the top ten most violent games, but neglected to note that the list wasfilthy plagiarism. Here’s Thailand’s list of dangerous games:
1-GTA2-Man Hunt3-Scarface4-50 Cent – Bullet Proof5-3006-The Godfather7-Killer 78-Resident Evil 49-God of War10-Hitman
And here’s Detroit Prosecutor Kym Worthy’s list of the ten most violent games, issued last December:
1.Grand Theft Auto2.Manhunt3.Scarface4.50 Cent Bulletproof5.3006.The Godfather7.Killer-78.Resident Evil 49.God of War10.Hitman Blood Money
Wait, what? It’s twins! No wait, it’sdisgustingandshamelessplagiarism on the part of Thailand. Just what are Thai officials teaching its children? That you can lie and steal and copy the work of others to get ahead? That’s a sordid practice if ever I saw one, and Thai’s Ministry of Health ought to be ashamed of itself. Theft indeed, of all things. And they say that videogames are corrupt.
