While the clips don’t reveal a ton of new information, they do show off a gorgeous rendering engine, a seemingly infinite draw distance and, yet again, the awesomeness that is OctoCamo.Obviously the big draw for Konami is going to beMetal Gear Solid 4— the series has always relied on a story that, while at times confusing as hell, is one of the finest in the industry — butMetal Gear Onlineseems like it’s shaping up nicely, and should draw fans of bothMetal Gearand online death match. Though, if the PS2 and PSP iterations of the way Kojima does multiplayer (Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake EaterandMetal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, respectively) are any indication, there won’t be enough here to justify its release as an entire game.
