Tokyo Game Show is a tremendous event, roughly more than twice the size of the old booth babe laden E3. With such a massive amount of people in attendance, it would seem like the ideal venue for the big three to speak to their audiences, but according to a recent report from Gamekyo, the only company holding a press conference at TGS is Microsoft — Sony won’t be holding one, and Nintendo didn’t even bother to show up.

Seems odd to say the least, but as TGS is late in the year, perhaps most of the major announcements and plans for the holidays have already been made public. At least Sony is having a cocktail party, which our TGS team will hopefully see lots of games and get ridiculously intoxicated at.
