Releasing developer diaries is apparently the cool thing to do nowadays, but who’s complaining? I’m certainly not.
It’s always nice to hear devs justify the product they put so much time and effort into, so long as you aren’t afraid to question some of the more serious claims being tossed around.
For instance, in video above, we are told that “Stokedis the first snowboarding videogame to feature a real weather system.” While I don’t consider myself to be an infallible expert on the subject, that statement seems like a bit much.
Either way, crazier things has been said in the past, and it’s stuff like this that gets people looking at your game regardless of its ability to live up to our expectations.
Also, they didn’t use Wolfmother’s “Woman” for the video. I’m on the verge of shedding tears of happiness.
