Yesterday, Sony teased the world like a little trollop with the promise of a surprise sequel announcement. Most gamers bet that it would beResistance 3, but Insomniac and Sony have declared that this obvious game wasn’t correct. Why, that’s nowhere near surprising enough!
Insomniac’s James Stevenson confirmed that, while he knows what the surprise game is, it’s “not a title from Insomniac.” So, although we’re all pretty certain thatResistance 3is coming, that won’t be the new game officially announced this week. You can set your brain to work again, guys.
I’m pretty stoked for what this announcement could be. The other games that have all but been confirmed areinFAMOUS 2andKillzone 3, but if Sony has any self awareness, it’ll know that neither of those announcements are very surprising. So long as it’s not a sequel toLair, I think it’ll be cool no matter what gets revealed.
