Anyone planning on heading out to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival this year? This morning Sony Computer Entertainment America has annoucned that they will be on hand withLittleBigPlanet,Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, andSingStar.
Sony have erected two “fully-interactive entertainment tents” which on of which will be entirely dedicated to the highly-anticipatedLittleBigPlanet. The rub? It’s not playable! Instead, Sony will introduce attendees to the titles three pillars — Play, Create, and Share. People will likely drool, but will have to settle for watching videos. Sound familiar? Yeah, you’ve been doing it for over a year.
The second booth will houseGran Turismo 5 PrologueandSingStarsetups, which will both be playable, but neither of them areLittleBigPlanet, so who cares? The festival runs from April 25 through April 27 and features everyone from Aesop Rock to Tegan and Sara, and they will all be pissed that they can’t playLittleBigPlanet.
