First off, sorry for this taking so long to get up. I went straight to vacation when I got back from PAX East 2011. It was an exhausting experience, especially considering that GDC was the week before. Plus there was a lot at PAX East this time around, as you can tellfrom the epic Jonathan Holmes montage.
In any case, for those of you that were waiting for this, you probably already know that the camera that had the group shot (along with a ton of photos from the entire weekend)was stolen. A few people did take some photos, includingthis imagebyAlec Shobin from Fire Hose Games(have you playedSlam Bolt Scrappersyet? It’s freaking awesome.)
The above video (special thanks to@c05m0) was taken at the first location for the photo. We then moved on tothe other side of theconvention center where we had Josh Harrison (the camera dude) go to the third floor of the Boston Convention Center and take an aerial shot of all the Dtoiders.
Let this serve as a lesson to everyone. Just because there’s a pro photographer running around taking pictures doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take pictures yourself, even if it’s just on your cell phone! See you all at PAX Prime 2011. We have something really cool in the works.
