I seem to have this habit of never getting into Eidos-published games. I’m not sure why, but the likes ofTomb RaiderandHitmanhave never clicked with me, so I don’t often pay the publisher much heed. Perhaps that should change, however, ifShellshock 2: Blood Trailsis anywhere near as wonderful as its trailer.

I have no idea if the game is going to be any good, but I’d be impressed if the reality could surpass the promise of this incredibly well-made video. That’s the problem with great trailers, the cruel sirens of the videogame world.
