A SEGA rep has confirmed thatSonic and the Secret RingsandSonic and the Black Knightwere two entries in a trilogy, the third of which will arrive sometime in the future. Thus the so-called “Sonic Storybook” series will be complete.
This information was gleaned during a public chat with SEGA Mexico.
In addition to this, another SEGA Superstars game is on the cards — past entries wereSEGA Superstars,SEGA Superstars TennisandSonic & SEGA All-stars Racing.
During the chat,Tails Adventureon the Game Gear somehow came up, and the Mexico rep was asked if we’d see another portable Tails game. The reply was quite interesting: “Something like aSonic Adventure 3 … DS? I think that would be a great idea.”
I wouldn’t read too much into that statement, but it’s still worth noting that SEGA brought it up first!
