The loot-filledTorchlightwas recently introduced to a new crowd of gamers with its Xbox Live Arcade release. So now is as good of time as any to start pondering aboutTorchlight II, and of course, theTorchlightMMO.

Runic Games CEO Max Schaefer has come bearing more details, this time to Charge Shot. “We view the world of MMOs more broadly, I guess, than most,” he starts. “When you say MMO, people always have a very specific picture in their mind of what you’re talking about. We really don’t want to make a cookie cutter MMO. We want to come out with a fresh take.”
