According to the omnipresentANONYMOUS SOURCE, Sony is set to officially unveil the PlayStation Portable successor console on January 27. The long-rumored, practically-confirmed, might-as-well-not-be-kept secret PSP2 has been a long time coming, and it would seem we’re finally getting to see it soon.
According to various sources, a press event in Tokyo will see the PSP2. The timing seems to deliberately coincide with aNintendo press event on January 19, which indicates Sony is planning to take the wind out of the 3DS’ sails.
So, I guess we’ll have to check back later this month to see just how true it all is.
