As you may have noticed from our review of the firstRolando, Destructoid really liked the game a lot and wondered might be next up from developersHandCircus. Apparently, that next project was a sequel to the cute iPhone/iTouch title. CalledRolando 2: Quest For the Golden Orchid, the game has a lot of memorable new faces (check out the website to learn more about them) and sports the same colorful look that made the first game popular. Slated to come out his June for the iPhone and iTouch,Rolando 2will come out with four worlds and 36 levels and get an update by October to add another twenty levels. Not too shabby for a game that costs five bucks, and it definitely looks like it will be one of the better quality titles for the iPhone right alongside its predecessor. NGmoco, the game’s publisher, also promisesRolando 3coming in November, which may be more of the same or something different entirely. The latter choice would be a unique one, so let’s hope for that!
