Full disclosure: a Bane spinoff game isn’t going to happen anytime soon … but it sure is a fun topic to think about, right?Right!? In a discussion with VideoGamer,Batman: Arkham Asylumdirector Sefton Hill pondered what such a project would be like.

“I really think there’s scope to take some of those villains, even some of the not-so-famous ones like Bane, who has a phenomenal backstory, and really work on turning that into something original and fresh.”

While he admits it would be “less popular,” Hill believes that sort of game “could be really interesting and exciting. That could be crazy.” So crazy, in fact, that I can hardly fathom the concept.

In closing, Hill didn’t give out anything specific onArkham Asylum 2, but he was willing to promise the studio’s continued commitment to dishing out plenty of surprises: “For us as a developer… we’re not a mission pack developer. We always want to surprise, we want to come up with something new.”
