Well, it was a little longer thanwe were originally advised of, but it looks as if Rockstar has finally gotten around to addressing theissues with 360’sBully: Scholarship Edition. It isn’t news of a confirmed patch release just yet, however — what we are expecting is a “progress update”, which could be word that the patch is ready or that it will be ready shortly.

Surely some fans will be displeased if today’s announcement is merely waffling, but considering how Rockstar is stressing this is a “worldwide announcement”, I choose to hope for the best. I personally appreciate the fact that they are scrambling to please disgruntled consumers, but like any normal gamer I can’t help but wish they hadn’t shipped the game out borked in the first place.

[Update: Rockstar just sent us a quick note to let us know that the patch is now available. Go ahead and grab it, and let us know if it’s satisfactory or if we need to take a battering ram to Rockstar’s doors. —Nick]
