That BlizzCon attendee who called Blizzard out on an error in theWorld of Warcraftlore has gotten his fifteen minutes of fame with awidely covered videothat’s garnered more than 2.6 million views on YouTube. That was only the beginning.
Red Shirt Guy, as shown in the screenshot above, will live on forever — or until we all forget — inWoW. Oh, and Falstad Wildhammer was implemented into the game, too. So really, it’s a victory for this avid fan on two fronts. Pretty darn cool, if you ask me.
Clearly, it’s nice that they not only fixed the problem, but they had a sense of humor about it. For an industry that makesvideogames, this sure is an all-too-uncommon occurrence.
