Yesterday, THQ announced theRed Faction: Guerilla Collector’s Editionfor the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3. THQ are strictly adhering to theestablished formulaof limited editions by offering us a lot of the same stuff. Normally, this is where I would make some joke about the unoriginality of the product or take a jab at the figurine offered with the package, but I cannot. That mining walker above is just way too cool to do such a thing.
The Collector’s Edition will be exclusive to GameStop and will come equipped with these nearly identical items for the PS3 and Xbox 360:
The Collector’s Edition has a suggested price of $89.99 and will be available when the game hits January 13 next year. We have had the opportunity to explore thesingle-playerandmultiplayerportions of the game, so feel free to check out our impressions if you’re unsure about the level ofdestructionand originality that will be offered when the full version finally comes to us. If you’re not interested, just stare at the mining walker and wish you were made of metal and could break buildings at will.
