We’ve been hearing rumors of a newReady 2 Rumblegame lately, including anAmazon.comleak this morning. Now Atari has made it official with the announcement ofReady 2 Rumbe Revolutionfor the Wii.
The series is making its debut on the Wii, now armed with motion controls. The Nunchuck acts as one glove, and the Wii Remote acts as the other.
The game will feature 20 boxers, each based on celebrities from the worlds of sports, music and movies. Celebrities enter the ring as larger-than-life “Rumble-ized” versions of themselves. Announcer Michael Buffer is signed on to let us know that we’re “ready to rumble.” A new Champonship Mode lets players create their own boxer and then bring them up through the ranks, using minigames to hone thier skills.
