Who’s this little guy? Why, this is King, one of the characters from Halfbrick’s upcoming XBLA gameRaskulls. The game’s main character has taken the day off from kinging to appear as a rather adorable little figure, and Destructoid is the lucky outlet to get its hands on the little blighter.
This particularRaskullsfigure is one of a handful of early models, but Halfbrick tells me that plans are in place to create a newer and more readily available version in future. If the game sells well, there’s a good chance thatRaskullsmerchandise could be quite a readily available thing. The characters are incredibly likable and have “mascot” written all over them, so I could easily see more of these figures coming.
Raskullsis set to be one of Xbox Live Arcade’s best party games when it releases next year, and having played it, I can tell you it’s a bloody good laugh.
