The3D World section of the websitelists the system for $199. “Starting at $199.99,” it says. It’s still the standard $299.99 on other parts of the site, including when you hit “shop” right under the $199.99 link. This could be a typo, or it could be some kind of early leak that points to a price drop.
Wouldn’t that be fantastic? And that would also likely be a game changer. A Blu-ray playing, internet-enabled game system for $199.99. When I say it like that it sounds too good to be true.

[Update:Shacknewssays that Sony says that it’s just an error. “This is just an error on the website,” a representative of Sony Computer Entertainment America told them. If they know about that, then why has the text read $199.99 for more than a day?]
