This issue was briefly mentioned during E3 but not much. It was easy to miss, so verify that you’ve got the rightResident Evilfor your needs!
“If you already own a copy ofResident Evil 5 Gold Editionfor your PS3, you’ll be able to download a free patch close to the launch of the PlayStation Move (September 19th in North America) to enable the new motion-control scheme,” explains Sony’s Sid Shuman.
“This will only work withRE5copies labeled “Gold Edition” — the original version ofRE5won’t be receiving the patch, for technical reasons.”
I didn’t realize “Capcom wants you to buy the same game twice” was a “technical” issue, but fair enough. In any case, if you want to shoot Africans in the face like a total racist and you need to feel like you’re aiming the gun yourself, then you’ll need thatGold Edition.
