Seven45’s upcomingPower Gig: Rise of the Sixthings has a few things going for it to make it stand out from the crowd. First, there’s the whole “you can play it using a real guitar” thing. Then there’s the “magic drums without pads”schtick. Now this latest trailer reveals some of the game’s narrative, which paints a picture of the most dangerous music scene… ever.

We’re introduced to a rocker clan known as Rise, a group of “rock and roll guerrillas” who use music to spread a message and inspire people to act. (You know, it’s like Rage Against the Machine or something.) We meet two members of Rise, vocalist Dante and guitarist Becca. Now get this — Dante’s parents were killed by a rival clan. Instead of donning a mask and throwing on a cape to fight crime, he throws on a leather vest, gets some tattoos, and sings his ass off. Naturally.
