Blasting? Rumbling? Pokémon!? What platform can handle this much action!? The Nintendo 3DS, of course — Nintendo has announced thatPokémon Rumble Blastis headed to the handheld on October 24.

Created exclusively for the 3DS, the game lets players battle more than 600 wind-up Toy Pokémon. Players will collect the Toys, each of which have their own stats and abilities, and then throw them into a ring to kill or be killed. Brutal.

Rumble Blast will also let two players connect using local wireless, teaming up to clear levels with one another and trying to catch ’em all. Those who don’t have any friends but regularly ride subways or hang out at playgrounds,Rumble Blastalso supports StreePass to challenge others on the go.
