I’m not going to lie to you — I know almost nothing about Pokemon (other than the fact that I make a squeaky noise of delight whenever I see a Charmander). In fact, in order to post about the Giratina Origin Forme figure that you get free when preorderingPokemon: Platinum, I had to enlist Tomopop editor Bryan Coffee for help, who did a much better job of telling our readers about it than I will ever do in this lifetime.

Still, the show must go on, so here I am. If you are interested in the direct sequel to the immensely popularDiamondandPearlgames, get your butt over to Gamestop and place a preorder and you’ll get this figure of the newest legendary Pokemon for free. According to the fine print, it’s found in the mysterious new “Distortion World” and has the ability “Levitate”, which makes it immune to any ground-type attacks. Badass!

Platinumcomes out on March 22nd, and I imagine quite a few of you will be planning on getting it. Also, if I got any of this information wrong or somehow mispronounced a name, I give you full permission to stab me in the face with an ice sculpture shaped like Pikachu’s face.
