Great news for Steam users who are fans ofPlants vs. Zombies. PopCap and Valve announced the release ofPlants vs. Zombies: Game of the Year Editionfor Steam.
It’s just like the regular PC version which released a couple of weeks ago, with the zombie avatar creator and achievements. Except the Steam release offers support for the Steam Cloud to access your save game from anywhere. Oh, and Steam Play for cross compatibility on Mac. And then there’s that little thing about it being more like an update than a release. Folks who have already boughtPlants vs. Zombieson Steam will receive the “Game of the Year Edition” as a free update.
This is awesome. I load upPlants vs. Zombiesonce every few weeks and tend to my zen garden. Now I have another excuse to do so. And with some new goals in the achievements, maybe I’ll spend an hour or twenty killing zombies. Who can say?
