It’s disappointing that I think a lot of people overlooked Rockstar’sBullyon the PlayStation 2. For anyone who dismissed it as “Grand Theft Autoin a private school,” I have news for you — you’re close. ButBullywas an impressively polished game, with enough variation in gameplay to keep it interesting, and some clever writing pulling it all together.

On March 4, Rockstar will be releasingBully: Scholarship Editionfor the Wii and Xbox 360, and I’m going to have to insist that anyone who missed it the first time around picks it up.Scholarship Editioncontains eight new missions, four new classics (including what appears to be a pigeon dissecting mini-game on the Wii), new items, and two-player offline mini-games. The 360 version will, of course, contain achievements, so it’s just a matter of deciding whether or not that’s more important than pigeon dissection.

It’s disappointing that (based on the screens) the Xbox 360 version hasn’t received more of a graphical overhaul, but the price is about right — both versions of the game will retail for $49.99.
