If I wanted to post all the great videogame-related papercraft out there, I would just post links to Cubeecraft everyday and close up shop. Every once in a while, however, truly amazing papercraft comes along and I just can’t help myself.
Enter artist ddi7i4d,Nintendo Papercraft‘s resident machinist. Those papercraft automatons you see above this article? They allmove. Well, assuming you cut and glued them properly — otherwise, they just tear.
On the far left you’ll find theMario Coin Automatwho, of course, jumps into that coin block when you turn the crank. The best part? A coin actually comes out. In the middle is arelativelysimplePaper Mario Hammer Automatasmashing a goomba with a hammer which ddi7i4d says can be completed in half an hour. I don’t know if they count time differently in ddi7i4d’s native Germany, but only elves could make a proper paper machine in half an hour.
On the far right is his most recent creation, aFlying Kirbywho flaps his arms when you turn the crank. If you happen to be out of the joojoo beans and bat wings necessary for magic of this caliber, there is also a non-movable version of Kirby that can be downloadedhere.
