PlayStation 3 Trophy issue to be addressed in this century, presumably

A game-breaking glitch involving Trophies on the PlayStation 3 will be receiving a patch. The problem (other than the glitch) is figuring out exactly when the fix will debut. Users have been making the error known to Sony since this fall. According to a CVGreport, the glitch appeared when users changed their account IDs or their passwords somewhere between firmware updates 2.50 and 2.53. It corrupts Trophy data, preventing synchronization to the profile....
