Coming Valentine’s Day, Feb 14, is the next Dragon Quest title for the DS.Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelationwill debut on Nintendo’s portable for the first time outside of Japan. Now you know what to get your role-playing sweetie. Those that know their DQ history will tell you that this title dates all the way back to 1995, when it first came out for the Super Famicom. Now it has been updated for the DS, sporting new graphics and 15 character classes....

The biggest shocker to come fromNintendo’s Press Conferenceyesterday was that Rockstar Games has teamed up with Nintendo and will be bringing theGrand Theft Autofranchise over to the Nintendo DS. The game is calledGrand Theft Auto: Chinatown Warsand will be set in Liberty City. From the sounds of it, it looks like you’ll finally be working for the Triads. The only other facts we have at this point is that the game will utilize the DS touch screen and will have WiFi support....

Halo ODSTtakes place a few weeks before the events ofHalo 3. The ODST soldiers are in the City of New Mombasa, Africa where parts ofHalo 2took place in. The ODST soldiers have some new tools at their disposal that the Master Chief never got such as sound suppressed weapons and a low light vision mode to help them see in the dark. TechCrunchtells us about the flight sim stashed away in Google’s world map software, which takes advantage of the tons of satelite imagery Google Earth uses. I wonder what Microsoft thinks about this. You want to know how to fire it up? If you don’t have Google Earth installed,do so, and then hit Ctrl+Alt+A (Command+Option+A for you Mac people) after launching the software....

During GDC I had the chance to speak with Eric Stoll, game designer at High Voltage Software, the developer’s upcoming year. They seem to be hitting many angles with from digital downloads likeAnimales De La Muerte, first-person shooterConduit 2for the Wii, and perhaps aConduitfor the Nintendo 3DS on the horizon. I got a chance to check out all three titles and came away impressed with that High Voltage has in store....

A late PSA, but an important one nonetheless: ClassicFinal Fightin HD is now available over Xbox LIVE Arcade. Capcom’sFinal Fight: Double Impacthit the service this morning, bringing fans drop-in and drop out co-op and new, crisper visuals acrosstwodifferent classic games:Final Fight(1989-ish) andMagic Sword(1990-ish). The PSN version of the game will be released on the morrow, which coincidentally is when our review of the package will hit. WhileDead Space 2hasgotten its fair shareof downloadable content already, nothing released so far is what you would consider substantial. The first proper release is coming to us in the form ofSevered, which is a single-player side story revolving around characters fromDead Space: Extraction. Visceral Games has been generally tight-lipped about it, although the first screenshots have debuted in a new Q&A video with executive producer Steve Papoutsis.
