So,Sonic the Hedgehog 4has been leaked all over the Internet. Earlier this week, the complete soundtrack was spilled, allowing “fans” to download and listen to all the music in the game, completely out of context. Later on, a bunch of videos popped up online showing full playthroughs of various Zones, including Splash Hill, Lost Labyrinth and Casino Street. Basically, two thirds of the game’s content. you’re able to find the videos online if youreallywant to look for them, but I would ask the question … why?...

It’s a good time to be a Sonic fan. Sony has been accused of attempting to downplay its problems in the fallout of the PlayStation Network data hack. In a report sent to Japan’s Ministery of Economy, Trade and Industry, Sony confirmed that it knew much more about the security breach than it told the public. According to the report, Sony confirmed on April 25 (US time) that a “fairly large amount of data” was compromised, but it only told the public that it “cannot rule out the possibility” of a risk....

Rather than marketChrono Triggerin such a way where it will appeal to people who have never played the game before, they’re notching their arrow and aiming right for the heart of the real fan — the gamer who fell in love with this game thirteen years ago. Originally set to close this coming Monday, theStarCraft IIbeta has been extended by Blizzard to continue running until Monday, June 7. And if that’s not enough, it’ll be opening up once more in the very near future so everyone can play again right before the full retail release on July 27. The PS3-bound MMOFinal Fantasy XIVhas yet to be announced for the Xbox 360, despiteFinal Fantasy XI’sstatus as the only playable MMO over Xbox LIVE. Super Metroid Tutorials in videogames are very strange things. They are obviously important — as players need to learn how to playsomehowoutside of reading their dust-covered instruction booklets — but they always seem so out of place in the context of the videogame world. For example: Why is that random signpost in the village telling my character to hold down “A” to perform a charged sword attack? Did that NPC really just suggest I sort the items in my inventory screen to make things easier to navigate?...
