Publisher UTV Ignition Games has confirmed thatNational Geographic Challenge!, already confirmed for Wii, will be officially making its way onto Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. National Geographic Challenge!is basically a quiz game which takes advantage of images, videos and information in general that the National Geographic archives holds — similar toother games in the franchise. By answering questions correctly, players will be able to claim certain territories of the in-game globe....

Capcom has just revealed in Japanese magazineFamitsuthat they are releasing a brand new pirate-themed game for the Wii tentatively titledTreasure Island Z. Directed by Eiichirou Sasaki (of Resident Evil: Outbreak, er, fame?), the game puts you in the role of a pirate in training as you use your Wiimote to search for treasure and solve puzzles. I wishrealpirates had used Wiimotes to search for treasures and solve puzzles. That would have been awesome....

It’s another week of no releases in the videogame world. I’m checking my various sources and most of them are saying thatKawasaki Quad Bikes, Rig Racer 2, Classic British Motor Racing,andMonster Trux: Offroadare all supposed to be out this week. But checking out the company that is making all of these games,Popcorn Arcade, two of the games should have been out already, one will be out in February, and the last title is sometime in January....

Sony Studios Japan is supposed to have this game ready for the system launch, but right now they don’t have that much to show in the way of gameplay.
