The first images of Silicon Knight’s upcoming action title,X-Men: Destiny, have leaked onto the Internet by way of a YouTube video. Oh, Internet — you so crazy! According toearly details of the game, players will choose from one of three new, young recruit X-Men, at least one of which appears to be a dude with some ugly tribal tattoos. Truthfully, a YouTube video isn’t the best way to get your first look at game screenshots; the damned music probably isn’t helping....

I’m not so sure you can actually judge Microsoft on those incidents, as they seem to just be trying to keep Xbox Live clean, but a new lawsuit filed against them may get people really wondering about their stance on topics such as sexism. British retailer HMV has criticized the war on pre-owned sales, perpetuated by publishers like Electronic Arts and THQ. Explaining that secondhand sales are beneficial to the industry, HMV CEO Simon Fox has stated that the whole situation is really rather odd. “I think it’s slightly odd that publishers should somehow think that they have a claim to profit that a customer might make on a second sale,” says Fox. “As a retailer all we’re doing is providing an intermediary service, just as eBay is, or Amazon is....

There hasn’t been a balls-out action title highlighted on Indie Nation as of recent, and more than a few people have suggested spotlighting Daniel Remar’sIji. Though it doesn’t do anything particularly new, what it does it does pretty well. The protagonist has a crapton of different skills she can upgrade, all of which can drastically change how one plays through the game. Wanna be a badass martial arts fighter? Go ahead....

A story is currently flying around the Interwebs concerning a potential release ofFinal Fantasy IV: The Afteron Xbox Live Arcade. Apparently, there was a page on Microsoft Japan’sXbox Web sitewhich confirmed the release, including an image and everything. The gaming Blogocube picked naturally went nuts. However, a little digging by our resident tipsters suggests it is more than likely a trap.
