You can be the proud owner of a Servbot Bobble Budd

By the time I realized Capcom was offering those ever-delightful Servbots in Bobble Budd form during this year’s Comic-Con, it was already too late. I’m fairly certain I even cursed the name of Giant Bomb’s own Ryan Davis fortweeting a pictureof himself nearly exploding with child-like joy while holding one of these. Anyway, that anger was more or less for nothing, since Capcom now has the goods up for pre-order at its official store....

‘Who hasn’t wanted to run and own a DQ?’ Um, me?

There’s aDairy Queengame. If you were to drive on a certain highway in Texas, you’d notice that every town you pass through has a Dairy Queen in it. Is that a good thing? I don’t know. The occasional Chicken Fingers Basket is nice now and then, but the rest is not so hot. Their soft serve is like sugar milk. One time, in honor of the famed Porkchop Sandwiches viral video (after the jump), I tried Dairy Queen’s limited time version....

10 tips and tricks for 3rd parties working on Wii games

By May 16, 2025, Nintendo had launched the Wii in the United States, Japan, and Europe. The console effectively ignored or destroyed every notion of what a new videogame console should be. “Progress” in the videogame world has long been about more horsepower, a controller with more buttons, and games with a more cinematic presentation. With its runaway commercial success, the Wii detonated all that, and the industry as a whole is still figuring out what to do about it....

2007 Amazon Customers Vote: Wii $79, PS3, $139, Xbox 360 $99

Wow, the headline pretty much says it all. For those that didn’t hear about last year’s Amazon Customer Vote promotion, it’s a program where mega-Web store Amazon.com lets their customers vote on one of a few preset deals, and the item with the most votes officially goes on sale to selected voters for the predetermined price. The catch is that there is a limited amount of items, and voters have to “win” to be able to purchase their item....

Ace Combat 3D is lookin’ pretty 3D

At least, I’ll have to take Nintendo and Namco Bandai’s word for it, given that the screenshots they’ve released for their upcoming 3DS jet fighter game arenotin 3D. That said, there’s a lot of stuffflying at your facein the pictures, including such things as rain, missiles, and enemy fighter jets. I’d imagine that that stuff will be rendered in 3D if you turn the slider thingie up on your 3DS....

Animal Boxing is a game where you box animals, we have the trailer to prove it

I couldn’t tell you if Destineer’s upcoming Nintendo DS titleAnimal Boxingis going to be any good. Honestly, all of my instincts tell me “No.” But my heart screams “yes,” if only for the fact thatAnimal Boxingis exactly what it advertises to be — a game where animals put on gloves and box. The trailer makes the game out to look a bit like Nintendo’sPunch-Out!!arcade title, putting players in control over disembodied boxing gloves as they pummel billy goats, alligators, zebras, and more....
