Originally due out for release this month,Two Worlds IIhas been delayed yet again by publisher Southpeak. The promisingly not-totally-shit sequel to the totally-very-shitTwo Worldshas now been shunted into 2011 with a vague January release. “… Although we feel that the game is truly at ‘AAA’ level, that reason is that we wantTwo Worlds IIto be absolutely flawless when it launches in the North American market,” says Southpeak. “Although we could bring the game to market earlier to take advantage of the holiday buying season, we felt that we would do a better service to you by making sure that the game you want is absolutely as it should be....

Visceral holds action higher than horror for Dead Space 2

The one thing I was most afraid would happen toDead Space 2is totally happening: less horror, more action. Sure, we already have an abundance of action-centric videogames, and what small amount of horror games we do get mostly end up being mediocre at best, but what’s the harm of one more? In an interview with IndustryGamers, Visceral Games senior VP Nick Earl revealed as much. “We’ve got two main teams; we’ve got some supporting content forDante’s Infernocoming out, but we’ll mostly shift our attention toDead Space 2....

On my way to the refrigerated foods, I stumbled upon a Wii kiosk. Instead of being somewhere sensible, like the electronics section of the store, my Wal-Mart jammed a Wii at the end of an impromptu aisle of off brand soda....
