Despite having a rather lukewarm response toSonic Unleashed, I must confess that I adored the game’s Rooftop Run stage. It’s one of the few “Modern” Sonic levels that I truly love, and I’m thrilled to see it inSonic Generations. Between the solid gameplay and the awesome music, it’s a fantastic inclusion. The new screens showcase this stage, alongside Mushroom Hill Zone fromSonic & Knuckles. I also believe thatSonic Heroeshas gotten an inclusion in the gallery too....
Sonic Unleashedlaunched for Wii and PS2 this week and is hitting the Xbox 360/PS3nextweek. It looks like the deluge of videos regarding this game is about to end, because we now finally have the launch trailers. I shall be at Sega UK’s offices on Friday to get some early playtime in with the Xbox 360 version, so hopefully I will be able to decide if this game is as decent as it was when I played a demo in Tokyo....
