Hands-On: Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime

I just got back from the Microsoft games showcase, where the finest of digital wares were on display. Among them wasGhostbusters: Sanctum of Slime, the new four-player arcade style downloadable title. I was a big fan of Atari’s 2009 release ofGhostbusters: The Video Game, and thought it felt like a faithful adaptation of a beloved childhood property. When I heard Atari handed the property off to a different developer, who were planning for a smaller, Dan Aykroyd-less game, I wasn’t thrilled....

Interview: RedLynx talks bringing Trials HD to XBLA

Brutal honesty time: I’m not so into racing games. I am however very into games featuring motorcycles and the ability to crash said motocycles into a variety of objects that may or may not explode. Basically I’m intoTrials, and that means that the prospect of getting a completely revamped version of the PC cult classic in the form ofTrials HDon my 360 was pretty darn exciting. The game was just released as part of Microsoft’s annual Summer of Arcade extravaganza, and is thus keeping some very solid company in the world of downloadalbe content....

Juanito says: Go watch this Tropico 4 trailer

A new trailer forTropico 4confirms one thing: it’s more of whatTropico 3gave us. Which is really all I need to know to make it my third most anticipated game for the rest of this year afterDeus Ex: Human RevolutionandArkham City. Why? Because I put around 80 hours total intoTropico 3on the Xbox 360. Not because I hated the PC version, but because the control scheme worked well on the console and you could manage the slow-moving life of a banana republic island with your feet up, lying down on the couch....

Katamari scuplture includes humping sheep

Art isn’t art if there isn’t some sort of animal humping going on, and apparently Jennie Maneri agrees with me. The creator of this incredible sculpture, Jennie Maneri, decided that she needed to create a mini-recreation of the cute prince and his item covered ball, after overloading onKatamari Damacy. Using doll house furniture, hobby shop items, and toy store odds and ends, Jennie created a perfect miniature replica of the katamari, even down to the tiniest details like the labels on Pocky and Milky packages....

Let the dev tell you all about Skulls of the Shogun

Now thatSkulls of the Shogunhas been announced forXbox Live Arcade, Haunted Temple Studios’ Jake Kazdal is here to tell you more about what the game is about. While I can’t vouch for the American football references, mostly because I don’t watch that, there are a number of different influences that make forSkulls of the Shogun‘s rather unique and fast-paced take on the turn-based strategy genre, and this dev diary does an excellent job portraying the passion that is driving the team behind it....

He is in PS3 kart racerModNation Racers, and now he has climbed to the top of the most popular user-created characters. This Mario, created by user Peto-Mad, is quite good.
