If there is a myth or legend anywhere in the world there’s a solid chance it’ll go to some kind of use in the game. A while ago, we posted some pretty poor qualityLollipop Chainsawscreens. Now we’re back with mostly the exact same shots, but far prettier, and with some different colors! You know how exciting that is? It is very exciting! Lollipop Chainsawis looking like Grasshopper’s most visually accomplished game to date. The studio’s never been known for eye-popping graphics, but it’s always made up for it with sheer style. Now the style’s being married to quality visuals, and that should lead to a gorgeous game in motion....
Just a few posts below I told you about Trion Worlds’ upcoming MMORift: Planes of Telara, but that isn’t all the development company is cooking up on their Arnold Palmer-style approach to supporting an MMO. The company has two more projects in the works: an MMORTS calledEnd of Nationsand a science fiction MMO they are creating in cooperation with the Syfy (uggg) Channel. The former game is being developed by Petroglyph Games, who are the creative minds behind the originalCommand & Conquer....
The list of confirmedEA MMApugilists grew by two on December 29th with theofficial Twitter announcementof Hidehiko Yoshida and Shinya Aoki. We’re not sure who either of these bruisers are — these guys aren’t household names in the US. But the EA MMA Twitter account was able to reveal some of their brawling experience in 140 characters or less. According to the tweet, Yoshida is an Olympic Judo medalist while Aoki is the current DREAM lightweight champion....
