Fat Princesshas been a long time coming. As an online-focused, cartoon-like game full of humor and violence, it could realistically be seen as the PSN’s answer toCastle Crashers(at least untilCastle Crasherswas confirmed for PSN). Despite the multiplayer problems, I’ve been persevering with Titan Studios’ adorable mix of real-time strategy and hack-n’-slash gameplay in a bid to see if staring at endless loading screens is rewarded with some good old-fashioned fun....

After two or three plays, a graphic informed me that Jacobs had suffered a strained hip, and that I could put him back in the game — although the risk of re-injury was “medium....

Sony at this year’s Lollapalooza … what, is this 1993?

In shocking non-videogame related news, American music festival Lollapalooza still exists. The festival, conceived by Jane’s Addiction front-man Perry Farrell in the early-90s, was once a traveling circus of semi-relevant, eclectic mix of musicians. Years later, it crashed and burned when the tour organizers realized that Americans don’t like going outdoors or paying $40 to see one band they like perform for 35 minutes. The latest incarnation of Lollapalooza is a three day festival that will take place in Chicago, starting on August 3....
