Word is spreading fast thatGame Informermakes mention of an upcoming expansion pack for the PlayStation 3 title,Warhawk. Included with be a new vehicle, a dropship which can airlift vehicles across the map, as well as fire missiles. Besides that it’s slated to hit in December, that’s the extent ofGame Informers‘ informing on this topic. There’s no word on whether or not new maps or weapons will also be included. E3 is right around the corner, and Destructoid has been hearing all sorts of juicy rumors. A lot of things are being said, and among them a very reliable source has informed us that Valve and Electronic Arts are looking to revealLeft 4 Dead 2at E3 next week. L4D 2will see four different survivors battling the infected horde as they try to survive the game’s four scenarios. The game is said to be set during the same time frame and locations as the first title, but the four new survivors will be fighting off the infected in other parts of the same locations....

As everybody knows by now,Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2includes an incredibly controversial level set in a Russian airport that has generated much discussion. The level has proven to be so inflammatory that the real-life Russia has acted,recalling all copiesof the game from stores and effectively banning the title. Infinity Ward has opted to patch the level out entirely for Russian consumers, and an edited version of the game is expected to be re-released in less than a month, pending government approval....

SEGA has put on its “Bastard Corporate Bully-Boy” hat in order to have the rather excellentStreets of Rage Remaketorn from the Internet. You’ll have to get it from Megaupload.com … not that we are encouraging that(we might be). The remake, which included new playable characters, special attacks, enhanced music and better graphics, is no longer available fromoriginal sources, and any subsequent downloads have been flagged as illegal. The really miserable part is that the developers had previously stated SEGA knew of the project and had no issue with it....

So, Nick and myself each received a burned, severed doll’s head in the mail. With E3 right around the corner, this kind of nonsensical paraphernalia is quite common, but our powers of deduction leads us to believe this particular head is a bit more interesting than the usual garbage. Xbox Live Arcade’sSouth Parkgame has been ridiculously mute ever since it was announced at E3 in 2008. The game was coming to Comic-Con and we thought we’d have to wait until the show to find out what’s in store, but now we know a name and a release date. Lucky us! South Park Let’s Go Tower Defence Playis the moniker, and the release date is October 7. As you may have guessed from the title, it’s a tower defense game that is allegedly releasing to coincide with a fresh series of the satirical cartoon show....

Capcom has officially announced the Japanese arcade release date forStreet Fighter IV, July 18th. Hey, that’s a day after E3! Japanese gamers will get to line up in the muggy Japanese summer heat to finally get their hands on Capcom’s hottest brawler. Well, that is, if they’re already not in line for the location tests. Please,Street Fighter IVfans pleaded to Capcom after a reveal in January,put Dudley on the cover ofSuper Street Fighter IV. Capcom listened. The rest, as they say, is history. Capcom-Unityis pointing out a change for the cover art ofSSFIVmade, in part, because of poor fan response. Cammy’s portrait has been pulled in favor of pugilist Dudley, a favorite character for a game that is slated to hit in late April. Fans weren’t the only reason for the switch....
