The first game brought out at Sony’s E3 2011 press conference was, of course,Uncharted 3: Darke’s Deception. A neat live demonstration started on a boat, filled with massive chandeliers and a grand stage that was otherwise empty. After throwing a grenade in said boat, water begins pouring in. “That’s not good.” Suddenly the room is halfway full of water, and the entire ship flips. Our hero manages to escape through a convenient shaft, only to be chased by a surge of water as the screen fades to black....

Hi everyone! I’m sure you missed me terribly last week, but now that I’ve recovered from Swine Flu we’re back and ready to rock. This week I’ve stumbled across a website that got a hands-on withODSTrecently. What did they have to say about it? They said it was ‘underwhelming’. Is this unnamed mystery source actually a real person with anODSTreview copy? It’s very unlikely, since the embargo date he listed was wrong and Microsoft hasn’t sent out review copies yet....

Titmouse Games has finally revealed an early trailer for its upcoming title,Seven Haunted Seas, shown only to press at E3 earlier this year. The developer says it’s a “prototype” video, but it’s already looking pretty impressive in this early stage. A few months back,Titmouse’s Aaron Habibipour gave us the lowdowon the adventures of Scurvy Pete — an undead pirate with a machine gun arm — but it’s great to finally see the game in action....

The latest issue ofFamitsuhas revealed the first images and names of the first batches of downloadable content coming toStreet Fighter IV. The first pack — called the “Muscle Arms Pack” — will hit Japan on February 12, the same day the game hits shelves for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.Famitsushows content coming regularly, through the end of April, in the following order: “Beauty Pack,” “Shoryuken Pack,” “Shadaloo Pack,” “Classic Pack,” and the “All-in-Pack....

Now they’ve ran (OLD!) a correction of their last description ofChrono TriggeronGamestop.com’s Nintendo DS page, though this time it’s even more messed up. The writer may be joking, but I’m thinking that a fan game that blends the heart of and gameplay ofChrono Triggerwith the characters of theTerminatormovies and the time travel devices and hairstyles ofBack to the Futuresounds like the best thing ever....

The gamer’s gamer will remember the joy’s of Treasure’s 2D treasure,Bangai-O. I’m sure they’ll also agree that the insane shooter was one of the best reasons to own Sega’s Dreamcast, and those that still own it probably feature it high upon some shelf, like a prized trophy. I’m with you on all of these points. I’m sure these fans agree that we need moreBangai-O. Luckily, D3 is on the case....

Over 1 million copies have already been preordered, and Microsoft expects sales numbers to easily exceed the 2.4 million copies and $125 millionHalo 2pulled in in its first 24 hours. Microsoft has some big events and promotions lined up to makeHalo 3’slaunch the biggest ever. Over 10,000 stores in the United States alone are expected to have some kind of midnightHalo 3launch event on September 25th....

Are you a fan of cardboard and paper mache melee action? What about “rockets” that don’t shoot where you aim? This man should be given a medal. There’s not too much to say about this video showcasing one Halo fan’scomplete and utter dedicationto his franchise except that he should have used fireworks instead of his homemade rocket engine.
