Now that we no longer have to worry about when the Mac version of Steam will arrive (May 12), we can begin worrying about other things, like how much support from third-party developers there will be right around the time of release. One such supporter will be Tripwire Interactive. Big Download has confirmed with the studio that Mac versions ofKilling FloorandRed Orchestra Ostfront 41-45are on the way. Launch dates haven’t yet been pinned down, but a release for these two titles on or around May 12 is the current plan....
Details have been released regarding the PC edition ofL.A. Noire. Due to hit stores on November 8, this “Complete Edition” will include all of the downloadable content from console releases as well as boasting improved graphical fidelity. Now you’ll be able to really see the disgust in Cole’s face! I’m still investigating auto cases in my game. At this point, I might as well just pick up the game on PC and start over where it’s shinier....

Lionhead Studios — the developer behind RPGFable II— may have something fresh to show off at this year’s E3.A tweetwritten by a Swansea Metropolitan University student seemingly spilled the beans on the company’s event plans. Lionhead animation director Andrew Lindsay recently visited the school and spoke in one of the student’s classes, apparently showing off new animations from an unannounced IP. Linsday indicated at one point during his guest appearance that the first game of a new franchise would debut at E3....
Last night on Backlog, I playedMajin and the Forsaken Kingdompretty much up until the point at which I quit playing on my first attempt through. So far, so good. I’m enjoying the way the environment can be used to avoid a lot of combat, which isn’t all that stellar. And that dopey Majin is just adorable.
