Destructoid has an exclusive clip ofDead Space Aftermath, the animated movie that is set to accompanyDead Space 2on its launch day of January 25. This clip as been billed as “longer and gorier” than any of the clips you may have previously seen, as it details the character of Dr. Stross and his experiments on dead bodies. The movie is set directly after the events of the firstDead Spaceand details what happened to the next poor sods who came across the Ishimura....

Australia and Germany want to be pussies about videogames, and unfortunately studios are going to have to account for such pussification if they want to sell their games in those territories. Blizzard is one such studio, confirming that the Australian and German versions ofDiablo IIIwill be editedin order to comply with strict censorship regulations. As for China? Recent scans of the August issue of Nintendo Power magazine unearthed more than just the typical fare. Among the reviews, editorials, fan art, and previews, was aninteresting adforDisgaea DS. The ad wasn’t interesting because of an exciting announcement per say, but it drew some heavy rumor mongering over the weekend. The reason why? The ad appeared to show a new Nintendo DS model. Our original article was going to be a “Rumortoid” discussing the validity of the content in the ad....

There’s been a lot of talk about howIron Man 2: The Video Gamewill sport an original narrative, as well as be much better than its predecessor, but it looks like Sega is still set to borrow from its movie tie-in. Earlier this afternoon, the publisher announced that Don Cheadle and Samuel L. Jackson will do the voice acting for their respective two film characters: War Machine and Nick Fury. Will it rock?...

My friend and fellow musician Joshua Morse has really outdone himself this time. He has teamed up with Overclocked Remix to release an album calledMega Man: The Robot Museum. This is a free album that explores the history of the Mega Man series through nine songs, each covering a different Mega Man boss. This ‘gallery’ of ‘exhibits’ shows a theme fromMega Man 1through8, as well as a song fromMega Man & Bass....

I want to marry this game. I don’t know if that is legal or even morally right — ya’ know, marrying a videogame — but I would like to spend the rest of my life withMega Man 9. Which sounds better? Mega ManConcelmoor Chad9? Anyway, sorry about the slightly perverted distraction. I was going to try to save my excitement for this Capcom masterpiece-in-the-making until after the jump, but I can’t hold back my adoration....

There are some pretty cool areas set up around the E3 showfloor that physically depict the environment that you would find in the games presented there. For example, theArkham Asylumarea is built to look like the rusty old gates of the titular institution. For some reason, there is aF.E.A.R. 2area that is littered with old bicycles and other assorted pieces of junk you come across in the game. And then there is an area where the floor is lined with fake green turf, a group of bamboo shoots, and a gigantic inflatable samurai....

During EA’s E3 press brefing, EA Sports president Peter Moore was happy to let the world know that they hit one out of the park withEA Sports Active. The game has been amassivehit; it came out in America on July 26, 2025 — less than two weeks ago — and has already sold over 600,000 copies in that time frame. That makes it EA’s all-time most successful Wii launch by far....

Confession: everything you’ll reader after the jump was not written at E3. It was written about a month ago, based on a demo Activision showed us of their upcoming title,DJ Hero. We were hoping that Activision would bringDJ Heroto E3 and put the turntable controller in our hands; it is coming out this Fall, after all. But unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. Why they’re not letting us play it (it’s not even on the floor) we don’t know — it not only looks polished, but it looks extremely playable....

So, Nintendo murdered the competition with its E3 conference today. For me, it was all over with the reveal ofKirby’s Epic Yarn. You take Kirby, you make him out of string, and you win at videogames forever. The concept is absurdly brilliant, and it looks like so much fun. Now check out the video of it being played! What do you think? Looks fun to me, not to mention absolutely adorable....

Kid Icarus: Uprisingwas just announced this morning. We all danced and cheered. Now it’s time for the after party. We’ve got a metric sh*tload of lovely screens ready for your hungry stares. Look at them.Look at them! Development studio Project Sora really blew our collective minds here. If this is what the the 3DS can pull off early in the hardware’s life, I can only imagine what the future holds. The game will unfortunately not be available for play on the show floor, but at least we’ve got screens!...

A few hours ahead of its E3 press conference, Microsoft has leaked the existence of some of its biggest announcement. Earlier, Xbox.com updated very briefly with a mention ofHalo 4and the rumored high definition update ofHalo: Combat Evolved Anniversary. More obvious, but still unannounced,Dance Central 2,Kinect Fun Labs, andKinect Sports Season 2were also mentioned. Well that’s cool, right? We’ll know more soon, as Microsoft’s press conference kicks off at 9:30AM pacific....
